Set up in 2001, the Dot NAME extension is the single TLD meant for personal sites only. These domains can be personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other titles people are known by. At the beginning, only third-level registrations were possible, so if you wished to buy john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already purchased 3rd-level domain names remained running.

You will have the chance to alter the WHOIS contact details, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already purchased domain to our firm if you acquire its EPP transfer code from the current domain registrar and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been finished.
